Huang Nam Keqw Waterfall, Koh Kood
Also known as the secret waterfall, this scenic attraction is hidden inland among the island’s ancient Makka trees. Depending on the time of year it might be possible to climb over some of the larger rocks to access a small plunge pool. This is lush, jungle territory with no nearby shops so be sure to pack plenty of water.
Huang Nam Keaw Waterfall is a genuine off-the-beaten-track experience for the adventurous visitor, but the rewards for surmounting the rocky, sometimes steep trail are well worth it. Several tiers of streams plunging into aquamarine pools, together with atmospheric echoes and sun-dappled trees, set an otherworldly scene.
